The Washed Out method for house washing.
The marine layer from Oceanside to Del Mar drops moisture on every south- and west-facing wall every night. That moisture, plus the sea-salt aerosol, breeds mildew on the north side and salt-haze chalking on the sun side. Within 12 months of a paint job the color starts to grey out and cobweb clusters form under every eave.
Our house wash uses the same downstream-injected soft-wash mix as our roof service, but tuned lower for painted and stucco surfaces. We hit stucco from the ladder, work top-down, rinse every window and screen as we go, and finish with a full landscape re-rinse. Cobwebs and wasp nests are physically knocked down first, the mix takes care of the rest.
For Hardie board and cement fiber siding we use even less chemistry and more water, a plain rinse is often enough. Wood siding and painted trim need the softest touch: 40-degree nozzle, wide fan, and lots of rinse. We keep every rig calibrated at under 500 PSI at the tip for house work.
Salt haze on windows is a coastal specialty. We include screen removal and window rinse on every house wash from Cardiff up to San Clemente, full window detail is available as an add-on but the basic rinse is included at no extra charge.
Pricing starts at $395 for a standard single-story home. Multi-story, additional wings and premium finish care get quoted on-site. Every house wash is fully insured, includes landscape protection, and comes with a 30-day mildew-return guarantee.
