However, my HOA in Encinitas demanded that I either paint or powerwash my stucco townhouse in California. I chose to powerwash. Jeremy of Washed Out was the only company nearby who understood the dangers of power washing stucco. They use a soft power wash so as not to damage the stucco. They advertise in our community newsletter, which is how we found them, and when our insurance company sent us a letter coming up with some reason to drop us because of our roof growing “algae and moss,” we snapped into action and hired Washed Out to help. “I had my 40 yr old Spanish Tile roof redone using the same tiles which are very fragile. The dust was horrendous and my home needed power washing top to bottom, roof, walls, solar, as well as windows. First time power washing ever done. I went online, found Washed Out Pressure Washing that appeared to be the best. Getting a quote was simple and quick. Scheduled quickly, too. Guys did a GREAT job and were an amazing team! They couldn't do the solar panels because there was no access except on the tiles which were too fragile. When the job was done, the team conveyed to Jeremy, the owner, what happened with the solar. Even though I had contracted to have the solar done as part of the work, Jeremy deducted that amount from the bill without my asking. My note to him was about the honesty of his company and team: "Thanks so much for deducting the solar panel cleaning. I appreciate your honesty and that of your team! I was very impressed by how hard they worked and what a great job they did. I'll be sure to recommend your company to anyone needing one or more of your services. “We have a larger home and not all of the roof needed power-washing to remove the algae & moss, but to make sure the roof looked uniform when complete and the house returned to "white", I convinced my wife to select the full package which also included washing the house and then DI cleaning of the windows and solar. Jeremy's team came with wands a blazin'. 3 rigs surrounded the house and up to the roof they went. The roof restored to near new appearance and house power-washed. The DI system wasn't working, so they sent a truck back the following day and did a little additional washing and then the windows. I call this guy the closer, but he was awesome!! We even tipped him a few bottles of wine for his attention to the details. Very satisfied with the final outcome. Not cheap, and definitely not the most expensive that we were quoted, but one of those maintenance costs that does get a little bit visual attention when you know what it looked like prior. Despite the fact it’s two-story and incredibly steep. After it was all clean, he thoroughly cleaned everything around the house from the sidewalk to the patios, and even went so far as to make sure that the water used made it all the way to the end of our cul-de-sac drain and had no issues in Draining so the rest of the neighbors wouldn’t be inconvenienced. Kyle came prepared pulling a large trailer. I was thinking why does he need such a large trailer and then I saw a professional power washer go to work. He had long hoses, a generator, a large water container containing mixed solutions, multiple levels of power for his sprayers for washing the roof and washing down cement paths and shubbery of materials that came off our roof.
